Important Visa Information

Processing Time After Appointment

Most applicants receive their passport within 15–25 working days after their appointment. In some cases, processing may extend to 25–45 working days, depending on embassy procedures.

To ensure smooth travel planning, we strongly recommend allowing a minimum of 25 days between your appointment date and your intended travel date.

Basic Checklist Requirements

Passport and Copies

  • Valid passport (at least 6 months after your travel date)
  • Copies of passport pages
  • Valid UK residence permit and/or E-Visa (UK E-Visa, Immigration Status, or Permanent Residency, Is it valid for at least 3 months after your travel date)

Flight or Travel Tickets

  • Fully paid flight, train, or ferry tickets
  • Valid payment receipts must be provided
  • Review ticket prices and travel details carefully before confirmation

Financial Documents

  • Bank statements for the last 3 months
  • Recent payslips
It is recommended to maintain a minimum balance of approximately £1,200 for at least 1–2 weeks prior to your appointment. This helps demonstrate to the embassy that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses while traveling.

Employment or Study Confirmation

  • Employment letter or study letter (VisaD provides a standard template and guidance to obtain this document)

Photographs

  • Two recent biometric passport-size photographs
Full Support Package: Clients opting for the Full Support Package will have all supporting documents carefully prepared and reviewed by our documentation team, ensuring a complete and well-organized application.

Document Submission Guidelines

  • Please print all documents listed in your checklist
  • Both black-and-white or color printouts are acceptable
  • Arrive at the Visa Application Centre at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, as late entry may not be permitted

While visa issuance is ultimately at the discretion of the embassy and cannot be guaranteed, refusals are rare when applications are complete and well-prepared.

In the unlikely event of a refusal, it is most often related to the embassy seeking additional clarity regarding the purpose or intent of travel. In such cases, VisaD provides full guidance and support for resubmission as a goodwill gesture.

Refund and Appointment Policy

Full refund if an appointment is unavailable or Alternatively, we can assist in arranging an appointment for another eligible country
If you cancel your plan before the appointment is confirmed, 80% of the amount will be refundable
No refund available after appointment confirmation for VFS/TLS/EMBASSY
If you wish to reschedule or make changes to your appointment, an appointment and monitoring fee of approximately £55 will apply
